Looking for a special night out on the town? We recently visited Cypress for a date night and it exceeded our expectations. Set between Perdido Key and Downtown Pensacola, it is a quick trip to a beautifully renovated space that feels worlds apart from your typical gulf coast restaurant. The vibe is “Casual, Elegant” making it perfect for a fancy night out or even just a laid-back stop for a cocktail. We sampled seasonal drinks and had a Beef Cheek Arancini to start. Furthermore, we couldn’t resist trying their $30 Pre Fixe meal they offer most every weekend, which includes a soup or salad, their special entree (pork chop with veggies this evening) and then a glass of wine or a dessert. It was the perfect meal to feel satisfied and test their different offerings. All in all, I would highly recommend Cypress for a date night, or stopping in for the wonderful brunch they offer. Reservations are highly encouraged.
