This is a great property to stay in with your family!! The ocean view is phenomenal. The walk down to the beach only takes a couple of minutes. The condo was very comfortable and it had everything that we needed! We will definitely plan to stay here again. ?

Lovely Vacation!
My family and I loved this condo, the owners did a beautiful job with the upgrades and finishes. The views were spectacular from the 18th floor, weather was gorgeous and of course the waves are always a lot of fun! This location is close to Orange beach and Destin beach, however, if you are wanting shops and restaurants within walking distance...not so much... you really need to drive for that (it's just a few minutes drive, but definitely not within walking distance). Highly recommend this condo for anyone needing R & R and an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Charlene made sure I had everything I needed. when we arrived whatever we needed was there. It was really easy to get to & find, and the beach was right downstairs (no sand in the car!!) Also the view was breathtaking at night

Check in is not very good
Check in was at 4 pm. They have a total of 5 carts, with everyone coming at once. Carrying everything up to 18th floor with elevators backed up also was not a good situation. We have been renting condos for the past 15 years, that was the worst.

The only issue I can think of is the elevator system, only one elevator was operational over the weekend and that was corrected Monday Morning. The other issue with the elevator was there was no ventilation. Other than that great place to stay, will definitely stay again.

Condo is great!
Condo was exactly as pictured. Clean with plenty of towels in the bathroom, kitchen gadgets (regular coffee pot AND Keurig!) storage space in the kitchen and bedrooms to get your stuff out of the way, very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Fans if you need them to sleep tucked away in the closets, as well as boogie boards and beach chairs (we brought our own, but they were there.) Close parking with no problems finding a space. Another reviewer commented on limited number of elevators, but we got into town about 6pm and had no trouble getting a cart and getting to the room. Only thing that would have made condo better was a second recliner on the balcony. Only drawback had to do with physical location of the pool that is closest to this tower. There are three pools servicing 3 towers. The indoor pool takes up some of the space where the west pool is located, so the west pool is smaller than the east pool; so IMO, you still only have the surface area of two pools. Three 20-floor towers using what amounts to two pools. The west outdoor pool is tucked back next to the middle and west tower. The limited area of the pool deck starts getting shade at noon and the whole area of pool deck and pool FULLY shaded by 3PM, and stays that way for several hours. It pushes a disproportionate number of people into the other pool, and also pushes the people already in the west pool across the pool deck and pool, chasing the sun. They are nice pools, It just required more coordinating of where and when I was going to spend my time than I usually expend on vacation. :) Perdido Key is a great location, and this condo was very comfortable (again, great beds!)

Awesome time
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Colony . The condo was clean , roomy and lots of places for everyone. We were there with our grown children and their spouses. Enjoyed the fact that each couple had at least queen beds (master had king), and private baths. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful.
What to do differently? 1-Post instructions for hot water in the master suite shower. 2-Replace bedroom suit in 3rd bedroom. 3-Check all mechanicals before occupancy. 4-Provide lounge chairs on the deck. 5-Air condition the elevators. 5-Repair the TV/remote in the 3rd bedroom.
What to continue? 1-Continue to provide prompt repairs and service. 2-Continue to provide friendly service. 3-Continue to provide a wonderful vacation experience.

Great View
The condo is very nice. The kitchen is the best equipped I’ve seen in any vacation rental I’ve ever been in. Overall it’s a great place with an amazing view. Worth every penny

We had a great stay
Location was great. The view was gorgeous. Kitchen was not lacking. Keys were hard to get. Due to being older we found the toilets too low and no grab bars in bath area.

Very nice 3BR/3BA unit in Perdido Key!
Pictures on VRBO represented the actual condo. The condo worked out well for the seven of us and we all had plenty of space. Only surprise was that none of the condos in Beach Colony include an umbrella/chairs, so we had to rent them. On the plus side, this unit was ~ $1,000/week less than Indigo where we stayed a few years ago.

We really liked Beach Colony and Luxury Coastal Vacations. The views were awesome and the beach was easily accessible. It was nice having the pools available as well for the kids when they wanted to swim but not in the ocean.
The condo was nicely furnished with most everything you’ll need for a week at the beach. You do only get a started amount of supplies, so you may want to bring or buy extra things like toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, etc.
Plenty of options are available nearby to get groceries or eat out if you want. We went to Paul’s Pizza and The Jellyfish, which are across the street and walkable if you want to, and they were great.
There are two elevators available and one wasn’t working for a couple days during are stay. There were times when we had to wait quite a bit to go up or down, so just be aware of that, but never any excessive amount of time.
We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arise and with Luxury Coastal Vacations.
