Beautiful roomy home, equipped with everything a large family could ever need!
Had 2 issues upon checkin, one was a bathroom door handle coming off and the other was kitchen lights not staying on. They had a crew come out within 2hrs of reporting it. Fixed everything completely and was very responsive and kind about it.
Overall, great house, great host and would most definitely stay again. Thank you for making our first family vacation memorable and comfortable with a great house!! A++ & 5 Stars!!

Beautiful home. Plenty of towels, pillows, extra blankets, etc. Lots of space for the kids to play. They LOVED the sand in the backyard. Thankful for the beach chairs, wagon, and toys that were available for us. Host was fast at responding. Couldn’t recommend more! Plan on making this an annual thing for our family at this home!
Tip: if you are staying here for a beach vacation, pay to visit Johnson beach(money goes to protecting wildlife and conservation). There is miles of beach that never got overcrowded! It’s worth it!

Beautiful home. Clear instructions. Responsive host. Fantastic stay.
The only negative if I HAD to name one, would be the amount of street congestion in the neighborhood, surrounding the home. Not the host fault, it's just the design of the neighborhood/lack of additional parking.
Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous place! Lots of room to accommodate large families. The kids loved the sand in the back. Short drive to the beach and other things. The beach cart and chairs were a life saver! We just loved everything about it and will recommend to others.

The water pressure at the sink was extremely low and nerve wrecking at times.
Need more accomodations with longer stay in the home such as papertowels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, trash bags etc. No condiments were in the home not even the basic salt and pepper.
Noise levels was good from upstairs to downstairs but room to room was paper thin.
Area nor home did not seem like it was freshly cleaned. Non stick pans were terrible to clean...need replacing. Overrall I would give the house a 6. I have stayed in better but there were certain things I was looking for this trip.
Temp level was imbalanced the entire time.

Amazing Home, Perfect Getaway
Salty Shells is an amazing home! It is clean, spacious, and located conveniently to many restaurants and the beach! The home is welcoming and in a quiet area but close enough to lots of fun stuff. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

We loved the Salty Shells!
We had an amazing time at Salty Shells! The house has tons of space and plenty of sitting room to hang out. The kitchen has all the things you would need for cooking on vacation and the dining room table is plenty big for everyone to sit at for a nice meal together. It was so nice to grill out on the gas grill provided there. The back porch had cute patio furniture to chill outside in the nice weather, the bathrooms were spacious, and the bedrooms were very comfy. We loved being so close to the beach and going for a nice bike ride with the bikes here! We had such a fun experience here and I would definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone :)

Highly Recommend this House!
Salty Shells is such a cozy home! It is a quick 15 min walk from the beach which is super convenient. It has everything you would need plus more! Extremely clean and accommodating! Perdido key is such a cute town but it’s also nice being 10-15 minutes from Orange Beach, Al. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Cannot recommend this place enough! :)

This place was everything! My family enjoyed the location and this large luxurious home. We did not want to leave. We plan to make this a yearly family tradition if possible. From checkin and checkout everything was easy and just as advertised. It had EVERYTHING we needed to have a great time. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay at Salty Shells
Highly recommend staying at the Salty Shells. I can’t tell my friends and family enough about our stay. The perfect location from the beach, brand new interior, and complete with all the things that take a vacation rental from good to great. We loved having the bikes to go to and from the beach (never had to worry about parking), the grill for dinners, the beautiful kitchen stocked with all the dish ware and appliances you could need, and the two living rooms for nights catching up and entertaining. So nice to have all the little conveniences like Wifi, bike locks, extra towels, hair dryers, coffee maker, etc. Great memories enjoying all the remarkable things this rental and Perdido Key had to offer!

Place was very nice and comfortable, peaceful, would definitely go back. Everything was nice, clean, only issue was bike tires were all flat and no way to air them up. We would have loved to get some bike riding in. But everything else was amazing. Kitchen was amazing as well as all dishes etc. We loved sitting on the back patio and relaxing. Bedrooms were very comfortable and pleasant. Over all awesome place.

This house was exactly what the pictures looked like. The house was squeaky clean and had a lot of amenities in the kitchen. We had 7 adults staying all week and there were plenty of dishes for the day. You will need to bring/buy dishwasher pods and more dish soap and laundry soap. The house was extremely spacious. The check in process and code for the door was super easy to manage. The bikes could use a little tune up but they have nice beach chairs and umbrella. Note that the beach is quite a walk. We were surprised at how far it was after reading the description. The house and neighborhood itself was fantastic! Super quiet, safe, and peaceful neighborhood.
The area however, was not the best as far as having things to do. If you want to hang out at the beach every day, this is the place for you but that's pretty much all there is to do in this area (our first time here). We had to drive EVERYWHERE. That was the only downfall. There are nice public tennis courts nearby if you play!

Great place to stay! Even with Memorial Day weekend, we found parking easy at the public beach access which is also walkable! Great to have options.
